Mental Illness "A Private Hell"

Yet again mental illness takes the life of a loved one leaving in it's path countless of victims left to suffer with little to no understanding as to the cause, the reason or why. As I wake this morning to read the morning headlines "Anthony Bourdain dead at 61" and less than four days earlier "Famed designer Kate Spade committed suicide". What was not mention in any of those articles are the thousands of unknown suffers and families that are left with no answers as to how we tackle this going epidemic. The suicide rate in the United States has increased in recent years. Studies have shown that the risk of suicide declines when people call the national suicide hotline: 1-800-273-TALK. There is also a crisis text line. For crisis support in Spanish, call 1-888-628-9454.
